Last Words

Dearest fans, friends and supporters,
Thank you for logging on to our site to check out what we’re up to and sorry that you have now to hear the death knell ring out! (G-ster, can we get an automatic audio thingie put on the site so that we can actually hear it? In the meantime you’ll just have to imagine it…) We’re all pretty happy about the decision I’d say. We dreamed big and, whilst it remained full of potential to the end, it just wasn’t as good, or as fulfilling, as we’d hoped it would be and are already well into the next phase…

For Josie and I that looks like primarily solo careers, although she is collaborating with other musicians and singing with a few other bands too. I’m re-branding back to the name I started out with (in both senses), ‘Henry Dingle’, and have been gigging a Summer’s load of new material with The Electro-Acoustic Club in Manchester for ‘In The City’ and in Angel’s Anam Bar, both as launch gigs for their ‘Live At The Electro-Acoustic Club Volume 2′ album which (comes highly recommended and..) features a live track from all the best acts to have played with them over the past few years, including Marcel’s Permanent Wave’s, ‘Yeah To Capital’. Gwilym plays double bass with Simon Kitchener, who we all used to love seeing at Pi Music nights, and is no doubt involved in other projects that he’s quietly getting on with.

I hope that we will use this site now as a gateway to all of our future music projects, our individual myspace pages and links to band websites that one or other of us has got involved with so that you can keep in touch with what we’re currrently working on. If you thought what we were doing as Marcel’s Permanent Wave was exciting, then I’d suggest that our future projects will be even more so. Please stay in touch with us and thank you for all of your loving support and the good times over the past few years,

Henry
